An IB World School
We are one of a growing number of schools in the United Kingdom, and the first in Bath to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Students entering our Sixth Form College have the choice between the IB Diploma Programme and our A Level courses.
The IB Diploma was introduced in 1968 and provides students with an academically challenging and balanced programme of education. Students study a broad range of subjects and are encouraged to develop independent learning and critical thinking skills which prepare them for higher education and employment.
The Diploma Programme has a strong international dimension, drawing on cultures from across the world. It nurtures the values of tolerance and respect, providing a firm foundation for students to take their place as global citizens of the twenty first century.
