Ten in the Running for Bath Performance Prize
From The Bath Chronicle Thu 8 Jul, 2010
The Chronicle's inaugural Running Bath Performance of the Month award, won by Laura Maddox, was quite a talking point in the local athletics fraternity. A hectic month of track and field action, together with road and multi-terrain races, has witnessed some outstanding performances from our local athletes and the rop ten are listed below. It will certainly give our judges plenty to think about before deciding who should be the second winner of the Running Bath Performance of the Month. The winner will pick up the super prize of a pair of training shoes from the city's leading athletics retailer, where customers can be guaranteed a great service and expert advice from the knowledgeable staff.
Laura Smith: The Royal High School pupil also impressed and her victories in the inter girls' 200m and 300m earned her the best track performance in her age group at Avon Schools.
