Quartet Beaming After Satellite Call

From The Bath Chronicle Thu 30 Jun, 2011

Netball  The Royal High School pupils Mali Gravel, Sophie Langman, Hollie Clark and Katie Cox have been selected for the Avon Satellite Academy.  The academy forms part of the South West Excel Pathway, which is a programme developed by England Netball to provide performance-enhancing training to talented youngsters in the area.  The quartet earned their place after trials in Bristol and will now attend 18 training sessions between September and March, focussing on strength, conditioning and skills development.  Natalie Roddy, the Royal High's netball coach and Bath Netball Club chairwoman said:  "It is a considerable achievement for a school to have four players selected for the Talent Pathway in the same age group.  Netball at the Royal High is going from strength to strength."
