ROYAL HIGH: The Year 6 Netball team at Royal High Junior School are celebrating after winning the Bath Independent Schools Netball Championships, held at Monkton Combe Junior School. The team continued their unbeaten run, which has lasted all season, netting an impressive total of 44 goals against the five other teams, conceding only 13. The team has benefited from great leadership under captain Antonia Hempleman-Adams and Vice Captain Isabel Perkins, who have kept the players focused and determined.
“It’s been a real pleasure coaching these girls,” said P.E. teacher Clare Elsley, who is anl England Netball international. “They play with so much enthusiasm and there is a lot of natural talent still to be developed in the squad.”
