Junior School boosts its ranking in Parent Power Guide
Sun 15 Nov, 2009
Our Junior School has achieved a Top 50 placing amongst the nation's independent junior schools in the latest Sunday Times Parent Power Guide, which came out today.
The Royal High Junior School is placed Equal 46th, a rise of 5 places on last year. The League Table is based on aggregating the scores in Key Stage 2 Level 5 results for English, Mathematics and Science.
Our Junior School is the only one in Bath to be placed in the top 50. Commenting on the results, a delighted Mrs Helen Fathers, Head of the Royal High Junior School said: "The staff and children have all been working very hard to achieve these great results. But it's not just exam success that makes this a great school. We have a wealth of creative and sporting activities going on here, which gives all the children an opportunity to nurture their talents. For instance, we have recently become the first school in the area to gain the Sing Up award in recognition for the way in which we have integrated singing into the curriculum. It's a very inclusive activity and boosts the children's self esteem and sense of belonging."
