Royal High triumph In Duathlon Championship

Congratulations to our team of 12 runners and swimmers from Years 5&6 who performed out of their skins to achive an overall First Place in this year's Independent Schools Duathlon Championships at Stonar School on Wednesday 26 May.
The event comprises 200 metres in the swimming pool (10 lengths) followed by a 1000 metre run. With the clock still ticking between the events, the competitors had no time to lose, so they ran in their swimwear and hats!
This is the second year running in which our Junior School secured the trophy. A memorable performance by everyone, but particular mention should go to Isabelle Philpotts, who was the winner of her individual group event in a stunning time of 5 mins 30 secs.
