Sixth Form Theatre Company production of Tartuffe

Last week, Bathos, our joint sixth form theatre company with Beechen Cliff School put on their production of Molière's 17th century classic Tartuffe, a send up of eligious hypocrisy. Its four night run at the two schools proved a big hit with audiences, who appreciated the biting wit and humour of the script, the impressive set and the luxuriously extravagant costumes, which were all designed and made in house. Comedy is probably one of the greatest challenges for most actors, but the cast and crew put tremendous verve and attention to detail into the performances, making for a memorable night of theatrical entertainment.
