How to Find the Junior School & Nursery School

 From M4 Junction 18

Leave the M4 at Junction 18, following signs to Bath on A46 - but do not continue on A46.

At first roundabout, turn right onto the A420, signposted to Bristol and Bath Racecourse.

After half a mile, at a staggered crossroads, take the left hand slip road signposted Bath Racecourse and Hamswell - called Freezinghill Lane.

Follow the road until you meet a T junction on a steep hill and sharp, blind bend.

Turn left and follow the road upwards.

This is Lansdown Road which you need to follow past Bath Racecourse on your RIGHT, The Blathwayt Pub on your RIGHT and Bath Park and Ride on your RIGHT.

You will start to go down Lansdown Road hill. Keep going until you reach a staggered crossroads with St Stephen's church on your left. Turn right and continue down the hill. The Royal High Junior School is then visible on your right immediately opposite Lansdown Grove Hotel on your left. There is a sharp right turn into the gated entrance. You will need to use the intercom if the gates are closed.

If you are coming through Bath City, Please just follow directions to our postcode BA1 5ES and you will find the Junior School half way up Lansdown Road hill on your left, directly opposite The Lansdown Grove Hotel.

From M4 Junction 18

Leave the M4 at Junction 18 on A46 - but do not continue on A46 into Bath.

At first roundabout, turn right onto the A420, brown signposted to Bristol and Bath Racecourse.

After half a mile, at a staggered crossroads, take the left hand slip road, brown signposted Bath Racecourse and Hamswell  and Park and Ride. It's called Freezinghill Lane on an OS map. You'll see a big sign for Tog Hill Farm in front of you.

Follow the winding road until you reach a T junction going up a steep hill and a sharp, blind bend down to your right. You need to bear left, going up the hill.

Follow the road upwards and round to the left.

This is Lansdown Road which you need to follow past Bath Racecourse on your RIGHT, The Blathwayt Pub on your RIGHT and Bath Park and Ride on your RIGHT.

After MOD buildings on your LEFT you will start to go down Lansdown Road hill. The Royal Bath High School is situated on your LEFT immediately beside a central traffic island (if you reach a staggered crossroads with St Stephen's church on your left, you have gone too far down). Enter through the large Entrance Arch and parking is available in front of the school, or on the tree lined avenue leading up to the front entrance (please ignore the double yellow lines).

Entrance to the Reception is through the double oak arched doors at the front of the building.
