A Grand Day Out!

The girls in our Reception Class had a wonderful visit to Bath and North East Somerset plant nursery this week and a great time was had by all. Mrs Timbrell said;
"We believe that as part of their ‘education’ it is fundamentally important for all our children to understand how their local community ‘works’. We are extremely fortunate to live in a beautiful city, however that comes from many partnerships working together to make Bath a delightful place to live and work. This is the second year that our 4 and 5 years olds have had the opportunity to visit the BANES Nurseries and gain an insight into how the teeny little seeds are cared for and become the beautiful displays that we all enjoy around the city. We cannot thank all the staff enough for their time and patience as we ask our questions and have the chance to see for ourselves all the hard work, attention to detail and relentless care that is crucial for all of us to enjoy the beautiful flowers."
