U9A and B Rounders Festival -17 May 2010
The Royal High Junior School fielded two teams in this Rounders festival hosted by King Edward's School at their Bathampton pitches on Monday 17 May 2010. The festival was held in lovely sunny conditions and both the U9 A and B team were in high spirits looking forward to an afternoon of rounders. Both teams played some super rounders, both batting and fielding well. The U9A team were a little slow getting started but once they had played their first match against a well organised Kingswood side they were soon into their stride. The U9 B team were consistent and calm throughout the afternoon. Both teams results were as follows:

Vs Kingswood, lost 7-2 ½ Vs Bristol Grammar School, won 3 ½ - 2
Vs Bristol Grammar School, won 5 ½ - 3 Vs Paragon A, lost 4 ½ - 2 ½
Vs King Edwards A, won 6-2 ½ Vs Monkton Combe A, won 4 ½ - 3 ½
Vs King Edwards B, drew 3 ½ - 3 ½
