Year 6 Visit to Bath Abbey

Year 6 children had a guided tour of the beautiful interior of Bath Abbey today, to study the locations of the Six Stations of the Cross. They learned about the Easter story, from Palm Sunday, when Jesus arrived in Jerusalemto the cheers of the crowd, to the Crucifixion on Good Friday and Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
Abbey staff commented on the interest and intelligent questions asked by the children. We were rewarded with a drink and hot cros bun before returning to school.
