Cross Country Competition at Kingswood School (Years 5&6)

Our cross country team took part in this junior schools event at Kingswood School today. All the girls who completed this course ran exceptionally well in tough conditions. They overcame the steep nature of the course, and there were some very strong finishes. In a tightly packed field, particular congratulations go to Kathini Logan, who was placed 3rd overall for Year 5 girls, followed closely by Charlotte Penney in 8th place. Bronte Carter was the first of our Year 6 finishers.
'Thank you' to all the parents who came to cheer them on; it gave them lots of encouragement, particularly when legs started to tire over the final part of the course.
