U10 & U11 Rounders Fixture v Paragon School

On Friday 25th April, the U11 A & B and U10 A & B took part in a Rounders match against the Paragon. The U10 teams played very well in their first match of the season, and they were playing in a variety of positions during fielding. With high levels of concentration, the girls managed to catch and stump many of their opposition. They hit with precision in their batting and worked closely together as a team to score as many rounders as they could.
The final result were as follows:
U10A Lost: 8 – 7 ½
U10B Drew: 8 ½ - 8 ½
A great game to watch and a pleasing start to the season. Well done girls.
In the U11 teams were just as impressive and enthusiastic as ever. In some close fought games, they used their competitive spirit to work cleverly as a team to score rounders and stump their opposition out.
The final results were as follows:
U11A Drew: 5 – 5
U11B Lost: 7 – 3
Well done girls, a great start to the term and some good points to improve on in the next fixture.
