Climbing talk has children tied in knots

The Year 6 girls had a real treat on Tuesday 18th January when Mr Moyle from the Senior School came to talk to them about mountaineering. As an experienced mountaineer, his enthusiasm shone through and the girls were mesmerised by his tales and exploits, both at home and abroad. He came dressed in full ountaineering gear and explained the importance of correct equipment. The girls all learnt how to tie a figure of eight knot and the fastest way to coil a rope.
