Juniors celebrate the Year of the Rabbit

We had a special Chinese New Year assembly, lead by the school's Mandarin teacher, Maggie. She told us about traditions of China around New Year and why it does not always start at on the same day each year. She talked about dragons, fortune cookies, and how the Chinese wear red during Chinese New Year celebrations, which last for a fortnight. We had a Chinese themed lunch which was lovely!
