About Us: Library
The Library occupies two light and spacious rooms and has a catalogue of over 16,500 items. Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment to all students and staff and to offer a good selection of multi -media resources and the study and recreational areas to enjoy them.
A qualified Librarian is on duty throughout the opening hours of 08.30 - 16.00 each day, to answer queries, supervise private study and assist with resource based lessons. Library based activities include; the Student Librarian scheme, where students train to become Library assistants and a thriving Book Group, which participates in local and national reading schemes. An annual Book Fair, regular competitions and author visits are also held to increase literary awareness.
