Masterchef Competition

Students in years 7 & 8 are showing off their flair for fine food by taking part in a competition organised by the Food Technology Department.
Working on their own, the girls have to create a recipe and cook a main course for one person using at least two of the following ingredients:
chicken breast
trout fillet
spinach
aubergine
fresh tomatoes
red peppers.
The young chefs are also up against the clock, as they have just 50 minutes to prepare and cook the meal and clean up afterwards.
Winners from each class will meet in a final on Wednesday 4th July at lunchtime. Miss Bevan and Mrs Dougall will be judging the event, along with Mrs teasdale and Miss Hurley.
