Termly or Monthly Payment

All fees should be paid by direct debit termly on or before the first day of each term. Should you wish to pay monthly by direct debit, there will be a service charge of £24 per term. Although paid monthly or termly, fees are calculated on an annual basis. No reduction is applicable during terms when there is less teaching because students are revising for, or taking public examinations.

Payment of Fees

All fees must be paid via the Bank direct debit system. If this is not possible for parents overseas, alternative arrangements may be made by agreement with the Trust. As is the practice of all independent schools, the fees are due and payable termly in advance before the first day of the term concerned. However the Trust operates a scheme whereby the fees may be paid by monthly instalments and an application form can be obtained by writing to the Secretary of the Trust. The Trust’s regulations relating to fees and notice are set out in the agreement between parents and the Trust, and on the fee account.

Registration and Examination Fees

A non-returnable fee of £30 is charged. On accepting a place a deposit of £350 is payable which is refunded within 12 weeks of the student leaving the college, less any sums owing to the Trust or the school at that time; it is forfeited if the pupil does not take up the accepted place. For boarders a Boarding Deposit of £500 is payable. The Boarding Deposits are also refunded after a student leaves the college, less any sums owing to the Trust or the college at that time.

HM Forces Discount

We are delighted to give students from Service families a 10% discount off the boarding fees as practical demonstration of the School’s historical links with the Army. If a award or bursary is awarded and its value is less than 10% of the boarding fees, then the award will be made up to 10%. If the award or bursary is worth more than 10% of the fees no discount will be allowed.

Flexible Arrangements for Female Day Students

As a college with boarding facilities, we are delighted to offer additional flexibility to female day students at the beginning and the end of the day. A variety of options will be available including the facility to stay overnight, or to board for a period of time, should the need arise. An additional charge will be made and parents will be able to choose on a termly basis, should they wish their daughter to take advantage of any particular option.
