Kerr Finds Her Way to a Fitting Finish

Orienteering Abigail Kerr capped a distinguished school career by sealing victory in the Year 12/13 girls' section of the 2010-11 Avon Schools League. The Royal High School pupil completed the 6.7km course at Cannop Ponds, in the Forest of Dean, in 1hr 13 mins 13 secs on Sunday to finish ten minutes clear of the field. Kerr's latest success in the final race of the season ensured she got her hands on the much coveted trophy and was excellent preparation for this weekend's British Orienteering Championships in Sheffield.
