Royal High Team Star in Tough Group

The under 19 netball team qualified for the county stages of the National Schools Tournament this weekend after a good performance in the preliminary round at Bristol Grammar School.
Some 26 schools from Bristol and Bath entered and they were divided up into four groups, with a total of eight schools making it through to the next round.
Royal High had a tough group, but did exceptionally well to beat Bristol Grammar, Kingswood, Gordano and Colston’s.
Centre Jenny Humphries made some fantastic interceptions and the shooting combination of Katherine Hall, Laura Kendrick and Helen Jones were consistently strong.
Royal High lost narrowly to Ralph Allen in the final but both progress to the county round.
