New Art School building is completed

The art department is now in its new home; a beautiful purpose built art school, housing four studios, with areas of specialism in printmaking, sculpture, drawing and painting. We also have a library area for specialist art books. The students and staff alike are excited and delighted to be in such amazing spaces in which they can all work together in being creative. The students have been commenting on how wonderful it is to be in such tranquil and inspiring studios and there has been a steady stream of students wishing to work after school and through their private study time. Mr Preedy, our Director of Art worked with architects from the Girls’ Day School Trust to design this light filled environment, which we are very fortunate to have.
