Cleaning Vacancies

Part-Time Cleaning Vacancies Available

 

We are seeking to appoint permanent cleaners, ideally available for immediate start. As a cleaner, your duties will include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets and deep cleaning. Experience is not essential as full training is available. The successful candidate will be conscientious, reliable and trustworthy. 

We offer a competitive rate of pay of £8.37 per hour. For term time only posts, the salary paid is pro-rata and spread over 12 equal payments per year.

We have various hours available at both our Junior and Senior school sites, which are both situated in Bath.

Hours Available (Please note that job shares will be considered)

Senior School hours required:
Monday – Friday either 7-9am, 4-6pm or 4.30- 6.30pm

Monday – Friday 3 pm- 6.30 pm

Junior School hours required: 2 evenings 3.15pm -6.45pm

Minibus Driver

Minibus Drivers Required

We are looking for enthusiastic part-time Minibus Drivers to join our team at our prestigious independent school in Bath. These drivers will help deliver the School’s aims and objectives by ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective site and facilities service, and a safe, pleasant environment for students, staff and visitors.

Your duties will include:-

  • Driving the school minibus in accordance with the published route and timetable.
  • Liaising with the school to ensure that parents are kept informed when the timetable needs to be flexed due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Liaising with the Vehicle and Equipment Manager to take on additional driving duties as required to support the school curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
  • Ensuring high profile areas such as entrance halls and main circulation areas are maintained to an excellent standard and ensuring that deliveries are distributed to the various locations in the school without undue delay, so that reception areas are kept clear.
  • Assisting with school functions or lettings as required, and prior to school/public relation events (e.g. open days, concerts and tours by visitors) ensuring that the school is checked for tidiness, litter etc.

You will have a full clean driving licence (including D1) and have the ability to prioritise your own work load with excellent time management. The successful candidates will have outstanding interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to relate well to young people, parents, colleagues and external agencies. Experience of driving passenger vehicles is highly desirable but not essential.

Hours Available

Monday- Friday 07.30am- 09.00am (1.5 hours)

Thursday & Friday only- 06.30am- 09.00am (2.5 hours)

Thursday & Friday only 04.00pm- 06.00pm (2 hours)

All hours are term time only.

Reprographics Coordinator

Reprographics Coordinator

Full Time- 36 hours per week

Starting Salary from £20,000

We are seeking to appoint a Reprographics Coordinator to join our fast-paced and innovative Marketing team at our prestigious independent school in Bath. This is a full time, full year post.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about reprographics and has the ability to work well under pressure in order to provide a high-quality customer-focused and efficient service to our school staff. This role will also include providing design and print support to the Marketing Manager to help deliver the School’s marketing, pupil recruitment and communication strategies.

Your duties will include:

  • Prepare, produce and distribute documentation in accordance with required timescales for teaching staff, including letters, teaching materials, reports, exam papers and other similar material, liaising with external printers as necessary.
  • Co-ordinate whole school reprographic requirements to ensure that work is prioritised, deadlines are met, is cost-effective and is of the quality required.
  • Work with colleagues in the Marketing Team to design and deliver a wide range of marketing collateral (both digital and conventional) in support of the School’s marketing and pupil recruitment aims and objectives.
  • Ensure that printing, reprographics and audio-visual equipment is operational and properly maintained; be the first line contact for problems and instigate engineer call-out, as necessary.

 

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in digital and conventional printing, experience of using printing and finishing equipment and the ability to plan up jobs in a cost effective way. Experience in using InDesign is essential.

The successful candidate will be an extremely well-organised individual who has the ability to work methodically, prioritise and meeting deadlines. An eye for detail and high levels of accuracy are key to this role and knowledge of desktop publishing software is highly desirable.
