An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Royal High School Bath for an experienced and highly motivated Nurse to join our team. We are seeking to appoint a School Nurse to provide a clinically effective high-quality service of nursing care to all our pupils and staff, in our busy and successful girls’ day and boarding school.

The successful candidate will hold an appropriate nursing qualification, be able to demonstrate commitment to continuing their professional development and have strong knowledge of assessment of health needs of the school-aged population.

We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual who is approachable and reliable. It would advantageous for candidates to have experience in working with children, have undertaken sports injury training or to have some experience in counselling.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Royal High School Bath for an experienced and inspirational IB Coordinator to join our team to continue the success of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at The Royal High School. The post-holder will be expected to teach a percentage of a timetable in any academic subject.

The role of IB coordinator offers someone with proven organisational and middle management skills to take responsibility for an important part of the school’s provision, this is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a passion for the IB and a strong interest in student achievement. This role will also offer someone with great communication skills the opportunity to use these to develop recruitment for the programme.

The successful candidate with work closely with the Deputy Head Academic and will lead on the development and delivery of the IB curriculum to ensure students receive a high-quality educational experience.

We are looking for someone with successful teaching experience in IB with a track record of consistently enabling pupils to achieve high standards, it would also be an advantage for the successful candidate to have some experience of pastoral care and pupil management.

Boarding Assistant with Admin Assistant Responsibilities

Boarding Assistant with Admin Assistant Responsibilities

For September 2017, 1 year fixed term post until July 2018

We are seeking to appoint a residential Boarding Assistant from September 2017 on a one-year contract ending July 2018. This is an exciting and varied post working in our vibrant boarding house. This post is full time and will include Admin Assistant responsibilities. Fully funded accommodation will also be provided.

The post holder will have specific responsibilities in our happy and settled 9-16 boarding house and will undertake a variety of roles to support both the Medical Centre and Music Department with administrative duties.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a proven track record of being able to act on their own initiative. They will be able to demonstrate a fair but firm approach, must enjoy working with young people and will be highly organised with some previous admin work experience. Full training for the Music Admin work will be given. This post would be ideal for new graduates or those interested in entering the teaching profession in the future.

We are looking for a dynamic teacher to join our Junior School team from September 2017 as a Class Teacher for maternity cover until July 2018. You will be an enthusiastic, dedicated and a confident classroom practitioner who will teach in either Reception or Key Stage 1. This role would suit a newly or recently qualified teacher looking to further their experience with outstanding support from a well-established teaching team.
