How blessed we have been this week with beautiful sunshine to lift everyone’s spirits.

We have been delighted to welcome Sam Reynolds and Beth Potter-Brooking to our staff team. Sam and Beth are working to provide additional teaching assistant support in the Prep and they have been fantastic additions - everyone has loved having them around!

The wonderful grounds have been used to full capacity this week as the girls learn and play in the outdoor environment. Ms Appleby has been out preparing the grounds for the launch of her specialist outdoor learning sessions and Mr Woods has been undertaking one of the INSPIRE sessions on outdoor sculpture – there are certainly exciting times ahead!

The introduction of Art specialist sessions has also been a great success. Monday and Tuesdays see the girls head down to the newly created Art area to enjoy being enthused and inspired by Miss Dent. She has wonderful ideas and I know the girls will really benefit from this expert tuition.

Senior School specialists have also returned to the Prep and a variety of languages can be heard through the corridors. Our own Prep specialists have continued their fabulous work and whilst public performances still seem a long way off, it has been great to hear the girls singing, making music, dancing and enjoying all that there is to offer.

It was great to be able to attend the virtual Open Event for the Senior School on Saturday. I was able to highlight the important preparation work we do in the Prep and how that feeds into the successes of the Senior School. Our Prep Open Event will be held on the 15th October, so if you know of anyone who would be interested in attending, please do mention it to them.

We are also delighted to be offering more flexible nursery sessions, to include half days. Many parents expressed an interest in a more flexible offer and we hope to see some new faces in due course as a result!

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
