All students who have achieved a Distinction will be presented with certificates in an assembly in the coming weeks.

About Bebras: This is a key competition in the school year for Computing and shows that girls can do really well and have an excellent chance to compete in the IT industry, which is currently heavily dominated by males. I have encouraged the girls who entered to challenge their parents to answer some of the questions by logging into https://challenge.bebras.uk/

The next competition is CyberFirst for year 8 girls only in January. We will be recruiting for teams of up to 4 girls in the near future. Details can be found at https://www.cyberfirst.ncsc.gov.uk/ where there are also exciting opportunities for residential courses, bursaries and apprenticeship schemes.
