Royal High School Bath has achieved first place for its IB Diploma results in the Best Schools league tables for pupils’ academic achievement in the small cohort, independent schools category.
For the third year running RHS has been recognised for its IB success. Girls taking their IB exams in May 2018 averaged an amazing 39 out of 45 points, smashing the global average of 30 points. Our highest achieving IB student, Mashal Ijaz, gained an incredible 45 out of 45 points, a score achieved by less than 1% of IBDP students worldwide. Mrs Duncan, Ms Jude Taylor (IB Coordinator), and IB students (Isobel, Alyssa and Maia), this week accepted the award presented by Duncan Quirk, marketing manager for Best Schools. We are incredibly proud to receive this award recognising the hard work and achievement of our IB students and staff. Nearly a third of the current year 12 students have chosen to study the IBDP this year, and the popularity of this sixth form choice is continuing to rise amongst our girls.
