On Wednesday 24th May, three Year 7s and three Year 8s competed against each other in this year’s RHS Masterchef Competition.
Their brief was to produce a starter for a celebratory meal that showed skill. The standard, as usual, was very high and the judges found it very difficult to select winners.
In the end, third place went to Madeleine who made flatbreads with lemon and coriander, served with a yoghurt dip. Second place to Leanne who made chicken liver pate with homemade soda bread and the winner was Lily, who made salmon and asparagus tart with a salad and vinegarette.
Congratulations to all the entrants, you all did a fantastic job.
