We were delighted to welcome over 50 girls to our final outreach of the year which saw year 4 and 5 girls attend either a Drama or Dance workshop.
Girls explored various performance skills in Drama including the art of improvisation which saw objects from a suitcase being given a history, meaning, description and more – was the soft toy dog really a family heirloom and invaluable antique?!
In Dance, the ocean was used as a stimulus and girls quickly developed their physical skills to roll over partners into impressively complex movements before giving a short performance to parents.
Well done to all of our visitors and a huge thank you to our teachers Miss Thorpe and Miss Moorcroft as well as all of our volunteers.
