The Royal High School has been named one of the top 3 schools in the country for pupils’ academic achievement of the small cohort, independent schools.
For the second year running, we have been recognised for our IB success. Girls taking their IB exams in May 2017 averaged an amazing 37 out of 45 points, smashing the global average of 30 points. Our highest achieving IB student gained an incredible 43 out of 45 points.
Ms Jude Taylor (IB Coordinator), Mr Nick Hayward (Head of Sixth Form) and IB students, accepted the award presented by Mary Murayama.
We are incredibly proud to receive this award recognising the hard work and achievement of our IB students and staff.
With 10 RHS students gaining Oxbridge interviews this year, five of these are IB students with the popularity of this Sixth Form choice continuing to rise amongst our girls.
