Leavers' destinations

Sixth Form students at Royal High School Bath celebrated success in their A Levels, with an impressive 67% of grades being awarded at A* or A grades.

84% of our 2020 cohort are into their first choice with 10% into their insurance choice and 6% having found a place in clearing. Exeter and ICL are our joint top destinations.

77% will be attending UK Universities with two-thirds of these girls attending Russell Group institutions, testament once more to their education at RHS, ensuring top grades and opportunities.

Just shy of 40% of this year's cohort will be studying STEM subjects; this rises to 45% when medical courses are included. We continue to excel at encouraging girls to embark on further STEM learning.

10% will be attending Art Foundation courses and 8% taking a gap year. Currently, one girl is attending university overseas, another is undertaking a Marine Cadetship and one is entering direct employment. This breadth of subjects and destinations demonstrates the time and commitment we take to ensuring we help girls find the course that is right for them.
