Full Time Cleaner

Job Title: Full time cleaners

Required from: September 2019

Contract term: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week either for one person or as a part time job share. Hours are to be worked over 5 days between the hours of 7am-7pm Monday- Saturday covering 48 Weeks per year.

Salary: £17,016 Full time equivalent - Actual Salary for working hours pro rata- £15,276 per annum

The role

We are seeking to appoint a conscientious and reliable cleaner/s to join our team in September. As a cleaner, your duties will include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets and deep cleaning in all areas of the school. Experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training is available. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, hardworking and have a great attention to detail.

These hours will be initially based at our Senior school sites, however you may also be required to work at Junior School site from time to time. Both sites are situated in Bath.

Part-time Minibus Driver

Salary: £8.75 per hour

Hours: Ranging from 10 hours to 23.75hrs depending on availability and demand. 07.30- 08.45 & 15.00- 17.15 Monday- Friday, term time only.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Minibus Driver to join our team at our prestigious independent school in Bath.

You will provide a reliable minibus service for our pupils, transporting them to and from the School, following routes and timetables as instructed. You may be required to take on additional driving duties from time to time to support additional school activities and events.

The successful candidate will have a full clean driving licence (including D1 minibus entitlement), excellent time management and outstanding interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to relate well to young people, parents, colleagues and external agencies.

Experience of driving passenger vehicles is highly desirable, but not essential. Possession of a current one-day first aid qualification and MIDAS training would be an advantage.

Casual Cleaners

Required from: As soon as possible

Contract term: Zero Hours

Hours: Ad hoc shifts available Monday- Friday 4-6pm for 2- 5 evenings per week

Salary: £9 per hour

The role:

We are seeking to appoint conscientious and reliable Cleaners to join on our team on an as and when basis. As a cleaner your duties will include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets and deep cleaning in all areas of the school. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, hardworking and have great attention to detail. No experience is required, full training will be given.

This role will suit students in the Bath area looking for part-time work.

Casual School Crossing Patrol

Hours: 1 - 7 per week

Contract Type: Casual

Service Area / Department: Environmental/ Highways

Location: Various

Salary: £15,807 pa, pro rata

 

This is a rolling advert, applications are checked weekly.

If you would like to work outdoors, meet lots of people and gain a real sense of community why not join the School Crossing Patrol Service?

Apply now to join one of our 42 school crossing patrol sites and provide an invaluable service to your community helping our children and adults walk to school. You will be on call to support/cover our permanent Patrols.

Full training and uniform will be provided, with the flexibility of morning and/or afternoon shifts being available.

Casual staff are entitled to annual leave based on the hours that they have worked. Any annual leave accrued will be paid rather than taken as time off.

Alternatively, you can apply for a role as a permanent School Crossing Patrol member of staff.

Part-Time Catering Assistant

Required from September 2019

22.5 hours per week, £8.83 an hour

Holroyd Howe is one of the UK's leading contract caterers, providing fresh food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children, of all ages, meeting the bespoke requirements of each school.

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Catering Assistant to work 22.5 hours per week, £8.83 per hour. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of varied styled catering events for the school, from weddings to fine dining events and you will receive full training to maintain and support the improvement of all standards in the catering department. Free meals on duty, development training and company benefits such as discounts at the major supermarkets (Waitrose, Asda, Tesco, etc.), cinemas and high street retailers.

Sixth Form Administrator

Job Title: Sixth Form Administrator  

Required: As soon as possible

Hours: 22 Hours a week, Term Time

Salary: Grade 3 salary starting at £17,502 Pro Rata

The role:

We are seeking to appoint a Part-time, Sixth Form Administrator to assist the Head of Sixth Form with the smooth running of this aspect of the school. This role will also include support for the Head of Higher Education and Careers as required.
