We are delighted to announce the launch of the Engineering Education Scheme (EES) this year at the RHS.
The scheme links teams of Year 12 students and their teacher with local companies to work on real, scientific, engineering and technological problems.
The scheme provides students with an in-depth experience in science, engineering, and technology that will enable them to make an informed decision about their future studies and career.
Our first team in this scheme comprises of Minnie, Kaat, Angel and Shirley, who will be working on a project for Wessex Water.
This is a really exciting scheme involving field trips and a 3-day residential engineering workshop at Bath University where they will have the opportunity to work alongside teams from other schools.
At the end of the project they will also gain their British Science Association Gold CREST Award and a Gold level Industrial Cadets Award. We wish them luck and will keep you updated with their progress throughout the project!
