On Friday evening, we had a lovely time after the amazing BBQ dinner. Year 9 and Year 10 boarders slept outside for a night to experience how homeless people feel. We collected cardboard over a few weeks and used it to create a shelter. Then we watched a fantastic movie called ‘Notting Hill’, and we ate cookies and drank hot chocolate with marshmallows. In my opinion, it was really relaxing and comfortable. I think the best part of the night was watching thousands of beautiful stars in the sky, it was very impressive. Also, I think everyone who slept outside was warm and comfortable, it felt very secure when everyone slept together. I had an unforgettable night, thank you to Ms. Matthews, Ms. Cornick, Ms. Thomason and Mrs. Custodio. And a big thank you to everyone who donated because we managed to raise over £250 for Barnardo’s!
