Our boarders can join local clubs, teams and activities outside of school, we will facilitate attendance, so they never miss out on an opportunity just because they are boarding. Some of our current boarders enjoy playing hockey for Bath Buccs and Avon Hockey, netball at Team Bath, swimming coaching with Bath Dolphins, Organ lessons in Bath Abbey, competing in the Mid-Somerset Festival, tennis lessons at Lansdown Tennis Club, cricket at Bath Cricket Club, gymnastics at Baskervilles Gym and triathlon training at the wonderful Olympic village training centre at Bath University.
This is in addition to other school organised opportunities with other local and national schools such as Youth Parliament, EAL Public Speaking, Music exams, Drama productions and a wealth of conferences throughout the Trust school network.
Our fun packed weekend programme also encourages boarding girls to try new experiences – we actively support our girls as they step outside their comfort zone in a safe, and caring environment.Every weekend and during the evenings our boarders have access to the on-site fitness suite, brand new Steinway Music School and recording studio, and the Library as well as beautiful grounds overlooking Bath. We have links with other local schools and are fortunate to have access to Bath University's Olympic standard sports facilities.
With the safe city of Bath on the doorstep, our boarders benefit from all that it has to offer. From visiting the Roman Baths and Fashion Museum to shopping in the lively cosmopolitan Southgate area and not forgetting the annual Bath Festival. Your daughter will enjoy trips further afield too – from theatre visits in London to rafting in the Mendips.
