We’ve invested millions in our boarding houses over the last few years to create a contemporary home from home for our girls. And the views over Bath are pretty impressive too! Our two boarding houses are welcoming, safe, supportive and most of all fun. Praised by The Good School Guide and described as ‘chic’, our boarding accommodation is super stylish with lots of homely touches. We offer rooms for 140 girls, around one-quarter of the total student body.
Freedom to grow: ages 11-16
Lower School boarding is located on the top floor of our neo‑gothic Main Building. With spacious common rooms, quiet study areas and fashionable mezzanine bedrooms, our girls are supported both academically and pastorally. Walk around our beautiful grounds after school and you’ll feel the buzz of boarding life. From girls playing hockey on our all‑weather pitch and sharing a joke over supper to indulging their passion for piano and painting, there’s always plenty going on in School House. Our extensive wellbeing programme means your daughter will be supported at every step of her journey through school.
Growing independent: ages 16-18
In Sixth Form, our boarders enjoy greater independence within our boarding community. Students share twin study bedrooms, and have access to comfortable communal areas, modern kitchen facilities and quiet study spaces. Sixth Formers benefit from more freedom and independence to manage their own routines, while still remaining an integral part of the school community. They are encouraged to take leadership roles within the school and are responsible for organising their timetables, balancing demanding academic work with opportunities for volunteering, community engagement and enjoying the rich experiences that Bath has to offer.
