Governance
We're honoured to have such a diverse team of Governors, drawn from a broad industry spectrum to bring a mix of skills and experiences to the stewardship and guardianship of our School. The role of our Governors is to advise, guide, and share knowledge and ideas to underpin the strong moral foundations of Royal High School Bath.

In GDST schools the Council of the Trust is the “proprietor”, but all schools have a local School Governing Board (SGB) providing support to the Head and taking an interest in specific areas of the school, providing expertise and being ambassadors for the school in the local community. The SGB meets once a term and you will see Governors attending a variety of events throughout the year. They give their time freely and we very much appreciate their support.
