Leavers' Destinations

Our girls go on to pursue different passions and specialise in a number of exciting, innovative and important areas – in their higher education and their careers. On top of outstanding academic results, our girls leave us as confident, well-rounded individuals with a global network of opportunities.

In 2023 Sixth Form students at Royal High School Bath celebrated success in their A Levels, with an impressive 20.5% of all grades being A* and a quarter of the cohort receiving at least 3 A/A* grades.

In our IB results, students achieved a fantastic average of 35 points, again well above the global average.

80% of our students in 2023 secured their first choice of university placement.

78% of our 2023 leavers secured university places, 8% are taking an art foundation course, 2% have chosen an apprenticeship, and the remaining have decided to take a gap year. In addition, 50% of our students secured places at Russell Group Universities.

University College London, Trinity College Oxford, The University of Bristol and Imperial College London are our top destinations this year.

We continue to excel at encouraging girls to embark on careers in STEM with 48% of our 2023 leavers going on to study Medicine and STEM subjects at university.
