“ A massive well done to the team of Annalisa, Cesca, Isabella and Mya for being crowned Somerset County Champions and qualifying for the County Championships at Hickstead in May 2023. Individually, Cesca was crowned Somerset County Champion winning both Prelim and Novice level with her pony Boo and also qualified individually for the County Championships. ”
Our Royal High School Bath Equestrian team comprising Annalisa, Cesca, Isabella and Mya have had another great outing, this time at Kings Sedgemoor for the Dressage Somerset County Championship, and are now well on their way to the NSEA County Championships at Hickstead in May next year.
Individually, Cesca had an exceptional show being crowned Somerset County Champion winning both Prelim and Novice level with her pony Boo (Coshlea Sparrow). The other girls were close behind!
In the Prelim: Mya was 3rd riding Darcey (Dasset Diamond), Isabella was 4th, 6th and 7th riding Reggie (Loughan Silver Shadow), Canda (Hoppenhof's Canda Z) and Percy (Noble Sir Prize) and Annalisa was 9th riding Caspar (Kalico).
In the Novice: Isabella was 2nd (Canda), 6th (Percy) and 7th (Reggie), Annalisa was 4th (Caspar) and Mya 5th (Darcey).
The girls’ consistency and good scores across the board made sure as a team they were crowned Somerset County Champions by a 10% margin!
