Learning to ski and snowboard at the Snowdome
Nursery and Prep School
We (the Year 5 and 6 ski/boarding girls) had a fabulous time last week at the Tamworth Snowdome. Most of us were complete beginners and by the end of the week we could ski from the top to the bottom without falling over! Some of us skied and some learnt to snowboard. We also went ice skating and to the snow park, which is where you slide down a slippery slope in an innertube! It was brilliant fun, especially when we crashed into each other. Every day we were allowed to go to Starbucks for a hot chocolate, which was delicious. It was fun sleeping in dorms and the food at the accommodation was amazing and there was lots of it! We had a film night, quiz and played lots of games. We hope to go on ski trips with our families now! Thank you to the teachers who took us.
