Liv Greenwell wins rowing competitions

Sport

Liv Greenwell, one of our students about to start in Year 9, has been busy over the last few weeks racing in various rowing events. On 10 July she went to Llandaff and came second out of six in the WJ13 1X. The following weekend she took part in the British Rowing Junior Championships at The National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. There were 36 crews in the WJ14 4X+ category from four countries, and in the 900m time trial Liv and her team came fourth, and in the 1,000m race they won sixth position. Liv also took part in the Bewdley regattas and in her first time racing boys rather than girls, she won her OPJ13 1x by 3 and a half lengths and the WJ13 2X race by 7 lengths.
