Music Scholars and Rising Stars pianists visit Steinway Hall

Gifted and talented young pianists, aged between 9 and 15, were invited from schools in and around Bath to take part in the Rising Stars Young Pianist competition which was held at the Royal High School Bath’s state-of-the-art All-Steinway Music School. Each played a piece of their choice for judges who included Mark Bradbury, Royal High School Bath’s Director of Music at the Royal High School Bath.

Following the competition, on Monday 11 March, the Rising Stars pianists were invited, along with our Music Scholars, to Steinway Hall in London for a tour, recital and masterclasses hosted by the legendary Charles Owen, a well-known British classical pianist and Ambassador for Steinway and Sons.
