Rosie Wins National Writing Competition

Congratulations to Rosie Sourbut (Year 12) who has won a national writing competition about the EU Referendum. Rosie submitted an opinion piece in favour of remaining in the EU to ‘The Day’, a daily online news service for schools and colleges, which RHS subscribes to along with over 1,200 other schools nationally and internationally.
Rosie’s article was selected as one of just four winners and now appears on the site as a news article. It was also hand delivered to Number 10 along with the result of The Day EU poll which had 64% of teenagers taking part saying we should leave the EU.
