This year's 'Rising Stars' competition has now closed for entries. However we run this competition every year so keep an eye out for next year's!

Win the opportunity to join RHSB students for a prestigious Steinway masterclass at Steinway Hall in London.

Do you have a child or a student working on Grade 5 Piano or above and would like the opportunity to take part in a Steinway masterclass followed by a performance in the evening at the Steinway Hall in London?

If so... please encourage them to enter our Rising Stars Young Pianist Competition!

Criteria
Entrants should be in Year 9 or under, and working on Grade 5 or above.

They should be able to attend auditions at Royal High School Bath's All-Steinway Music School on Saturday 2 March from 13:00. On the day, they will be asked to perform a single piece of your choice to our professional adjudicators.

Please note this competition is not open to RHSB music scholars.

Win an amazing prize

The winner will join Royal High School Bath Music Scholars on Monday 11 March for a special day in London at Steinway’s UK headquarters in Marylebone where you will enjoy a masterclass with esteemed concert pianist Charles Owen and perform at a recital in the evening.

Two runner ups

Two runners up will be invited to join the winner and record their pieces in Royal High School Bath’s state of the art recording studio, mixed and mastered by our very own recording studio engineer here at Royal High School Bath.

This competition is open to boys and girls from any external school, up to Year 9.
