Royal High Bath Students Celebrate Outstanding Sixth Form Success and the Power of Sisterhood

Royal High is celebrating another year of exceptional Sixth Form success, with Year 13 students achieving outstanding results across both A Levels and the IB Diploma. This year, 53% of all grades were awarded at A or A (including IB equivalents)* and almost 90% of grades were A–C*. Our IB Diploma cohort also achieved an impressive average score of 37 points, significantly above the global average.

These results reflect the ambition, breadth and determination of a Sixth Form where students are encouraged to forge their own path. Together, they have secured places at leading universities in the UK and worldwide, studying subjects ranging from History at Oxford to Medicine, Engineering, Economics, Fashion, Environmental Science and International Law.

Celebrating Individual Successes

Among the standout achievements is Head Girl Jemima, who will read History at the University of Oxford, where she joins her sister and Royal High Alumna, Elouisa; Deputy Head Girl, Megan, achieved an outstanding A*, A*, A and will take a gap year before university, supported by a prestigious GDST travel award that will enable her to broaden her horizons through contributing to vital conservation and community projects in Zimbabwe; and Hilda, who joined the school in Year 7 from China, achieved three A*s and two As and will study Economics at King’s College London.

Sports Scholar Immy balanced her studies with international netball commitments for Northern Ireland, while Music Scholar Stella achieved top grades alongside a distinction in her Music Diploma. Many students, including Daisy, Megan and Tilly, completed a lifelong journey through the school, finishing Year 13 together after starting in Nursery.

For many students, these achievements are the culmination of a lifelong journey through the school, embodying the confidence, resilience and ambition nurtured throughout their time at the school. For Daisy, Megan and Tilly started together in Nursery; today this chapter ends and they start their next chapter as alumnae.

A Sixth Form Defined by Choice and Community

This year’s results highlight the value of choice within Royal High's Sixth Form, where students thrive through both A Levels and the IB Diploma. Their achievements span Humanities, Languages, Sciences, Sport and the Creative Arts, demonstrating the strength of a curriculum designed to support individual passions and future aspirations.

At the heart of this success is the enduring spirit of sisterhood. This cohort has supported one another through challenges, celebrated each other’s achievements and contributed richly to school life through leadership, service, sport, music and drama. The bonds they have formed will continue long after they leave, creating a global network of alumnae connected by shared experiences and mutual support.
