Student Success in National History Competition
Student Success, History
Royal High girls are confident, curious and committed, both in school and beyond, and we are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our Year 10 student Maude.
We are thrilled to announce that she was awarded Runner-Up in the Spirit of Normandy Prize Young Historian of the Year Competition, organised by the Historical Association. This prestigious national competition recognises exceptional historical research, critical thinking and written communication, encouraging young people to engage deeply with the study of history
This achievement is even more special as it marks the second consecutive year that a Royal High student has been recognised in the competition, highlighting the strength of historical scholarship within our school community. We are incredibly proud of the way our students embrace opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom and pursue their interests with ambition and determination.
Congratulations to Maude on this fantastic accomplishment!
