Young Musician of the Year 2024

After a day of heats, Mr Bradbury, Director of Music, selected 10 exceptional finalists for an evening recital in our Steinway Music School.
The students – all winners of their individual categories – showed their amazing talents including classical and contemporary pieces. The standard was extremely high in this year's Young Musician of the Year competition, with Etta earning the title of Junior Young Musician of the Year for her singing performance and Jemima being crowned Senior Young Musician of the Year for her drum performance. Ensemble Winners were Amily, Yannes and Sofia for their amazing piano trio.
The event was adjudicated by Ralf Dorrel, bass player, composer and music educator.
