Genevieve karting 2025
Above Genevieve, Year 8

Congratulations to Year 8 student, Genevieve, for her karting success! Genevieve has competed in a local karting championship at Castle Combe Kart Circuit and finished second overall in the Barnaby’s Cup Championship.

She also won the Jamie Chadwick trophy which is given to the highest ranked female competitor in the series, named after Jamie Chadwick the female racer who started her career there. Not only that, Genevieve races as part of a team 'Swift Cooper Cadets' helping her team win the Southern Rental Karting Championship where she competed across several tracks around the South West.

In such a tough and male dominated sport where Genevieve can sometimes be one of the only girls racing, Genevieve shows real bravery and confidence taking on new challenges.

Heidi-Jayne Boyes, Head, congratulated Genevieve: "What an incredible achievement! It is wonderful to hear about Genevieve's dedication, talent, and the exciting opportunities ahead of her. We wish her the very best as she continues competing."

We wish Genevieve every future success in her karting championships and hope her story will inspire other girls to take up the sport.
