RHB Year 8 students win GDST’s Women in Engineering Challenge
We are delighted that a group of our . Back in June Year 8 students, working in groups of 5-6, were set a task to design and prototype a device to successfully move a meteorite, that had fallen to Earth and landed in the school field, from its landing site and into a box so that it can be safely transported for testing.Â
Boarders' Christmas Celebration
Royal High boarders from School House and Gloucester House gathered for our annual Christmas feast on Saturday evening. They enjoyed festive beverages and a delicious three-course dinner, followed by a fantastic disco and photo booth fun. It was a glamorous and memorable night for everyone!Â
Dickensian Spirit
At Royal High we will be fully entering this Dickensian spirit for the last few days of term. Our House Christmas trees grow more beautiful by the day, our Christmas entertainment Anastasia is playing to packed houses and Tuesday will bring our Christmas jumper day and Christmas lunch as well as carolling a-plenty at the Extravaganza and the Abbey on Wednesday. I hope the students and their families enjoy every last moment!Â

During their Classics lesson on Monday 9th December, Year 9 were treated to a visit by Sunday Times bestselling author Ben Kane who, dressed in Roman military kit, described the realities of daily Roman life.Â

The Royal High School Bath was delighted to support the recent recording of Love is Enough, a new Christmas charity single by Bath Philharmonia's Young Carers' Choir, which is currently in the top 40 singles chart. Â
Year 12 Imogen plays in Europe Netball U19 tournament
We are so proud of Year 12 Sports Scholar, Imogen, who travelled to Edinburgh on the 13-15th of December, to compete in the Europe Netball U19 tournament, representing Northern Ireland. Imogen played Goal Defence against teams from Scotland, Wales, France, Gibraltar, Ireland, and the Isle of Man. She played in 6 matches over two days, winning everything on day 1 and placing fourth overall.Â
