GS Blackburn and Friends Education Awards open for Sixth Formers

Brilliant debating success for our Sixth Form girls
Congratulations to our Sixth Form (Y13) students Anja and Catherine, for their incredible achievement in the Oxford Schools' Debating Competition, a highly competitive national competition. They are through to the finals.Â
House Dance and Drama 2024
Our House Dance and Drama competition, definitely an annual school highlight, saw girls from all four houses performing a 15-minute dance theatre show on a theme of the choice. The senior school got together in the Sports Hall for an afternoon of collaboration, community spirit and joy, created by the students.

A fascinating field trip to Iceland
A group of 56 students from years 9 to 13 had an amazing trip to Iceland over October half term, visiting rainbow decorated waterfalls, walking through a lava tunnel and ice cave, exploring volcanic craters, glaciers and steaming geothermal areas.
