Childrens mental health week
Our programme for Children's Mental Health Week includes various activities designed to promote mental health awareness and provide valuable tools for our students to navigate the challenges they may face. Some of the activities include journaling sessions, meetings with our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, and wellbeing workshops with Dr Ashish Bhatia, a GP and wellbeing consultant. ”

As we mark Children's Mental Health Week at Royal High School Bath, we have organised a range of events to support our students' mental wellbeing during this important week.

Our programme includes various activities designed to promote mental health awareness and provide valuable tools for our students to navigate the challenges they may face. Some of the activities include journaling sessions, meetings with our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, volunteering opportunities, discussions with Student Voice Prefects, and an expressive Own Clothes Day.

We are particularly fortunate to welcome Dr. Ashish Bhatia to our school this week. Dr. Bhatia is a distinguished NHS GP, sleep and wellbeing consultant at Sulis Hospital, advisor to the British Holistic Medical Association, and educator at Bristol Medical School. Additionally, he is the founder of Humble, an organisation dedicated to helping individuals, schools, and organisations bring out their best.

Dr. Bhatia has graciously agreed to share his expertise with our students through fun talks and interactive workshops on 'Designing a Day' and 'Surfing Stress.' These sessions aim to provide pioneering scientific insights and practical skills that students can use to nurture resilience, recovery, and radiance. You can learn more about Dr. Bhatia and Humble at www.humble.info.
