Year 7 were invited to watch a French film Une vie de chat (A Cat in Paris). Sophie and India in Year 7 have written a review of the film which can be read below:

Dino is a cat that leads two lives. At day, he lives with Zoe, a little girl whose mother - Jeanne, is a police superintendent.

By night, he works with Nico, a burglar with a big heart. Zoe committed to silence after her father's murder at the hands of Costa, a gangster. One day, Dino the cat brings Zoe a valuable fish bracelet. Lucas, Jeanne's underling, notices this bracelet is part of a jewelry collection that was stolen. One night, Zoe decides to follow Dino, and and on the way, she overhears some gangsters and discovers that her nanny is part of the gangsters' team.

This film pulled and showed compassion and resilience to when the times are hard. Full of suspense, tension and drama all the year sevens thoroughly enjoyed watching the film. The film was rapturing and full of amusement. The film was comedy thriller. The film was written on the 15th December by Alain Gagnol and was produced by Jaques-Rémy Girerd.

This film inspired many year 7 to be the best they can be by helping others, being courageous and taking risks to help. This film was exciting and held many unexpected plot twists. We recommend this film to those who want drama and excitement. This film has helped us grow, not just in being courageous, but also in speaking French. It was a nice and relaxing way to end the week. We all enjoyed it!
